What I Do

One art, three stages

01

Corporate & Brand Events

Galas, product launches, client dinners and brand activations — a live artistic moment guests stop for, and a personalised keepsake stamped with your logo that outlasts the event.

02

Trade Shows & Congresses

A silhouette artist turns foot traffic into a queue. Visitors wait to watch their profile appear in under two minutes, then carry your brand home in their pocket.

03

Weddings & Private Celebrations

An 18th-century art form, performed live at your reception. Elegant, quiet, and entirely unlike anything else your guests have seen at a wedding.

The Artist

Cut by hand. No shortcuts, no software.

I've spent over thirty years refining a single skill: reading a profile and cutting it directly from black paper, freehand, in less time than it takes to order a coffee. No projector, no tracing, no digital tools — just observation, scissors, and a steady hand.

I work across Europe and internationally, in five languages, and I bring the same precision to a corporate stage in Dubai as I do to a wedding reception in Barcelona.

See It Live

Watch the art in motion

Every silhouette starts the same way: no sketch, no projector, just scissors and a sheet of black paper. Watch a full profile appear freehand in under two minutes — the same live performance guests see at every event, from a Barcelona wedding to a Singapore product launch.

  • I have over 30 years of professional experience
  • I cut commissioned silhouettes from a photo: €30 per person, shipping not included

  • I present every silhouette on a card personalised for the event
The Craft

The Test of Likeness

Igor Kucinic, silhouette artist By Igor Kucinic, silhouette artist

A silhouette cut freehand with scissors in under two minutes has to do one thing above all else: look unmistakably like the person. With such a spare art form, there is no technical language to hide behind and no need for an expert's eye. The likeness is the test.

No Room To Hide

A painted portrait can use colour, shadow, texture, and detail to suggest character, even when the proportions are not perfect. A silhouette has nothing but the outline. That single black profile either captures the person or it doesn't, and everyone watching knows the answer at once.

What Thirty Years Teaches

That is what makes the craft so exacting. Reading a face in profile, cutting it at speed, and doing it entirely freehand is a skill built through thousands of portraits over many years. It cannot be faked by a template, tracing aid, or shortcut.

Frequently asked questions

How do I contact you?

You can write to me through the contact form or contact me directly on WhatsApp using the icon at the bottom of every page. If you include the date, location, type of event and approximate guest count, I can give you a more useful first reply.

What does it cost to hire you?

I prepare every quote individually because the duration, number of guests and location vary from one event to another. My fee covers the artistic performance and the agreed travel expenses, including transport, accommodation when required and per diems.

How many silhouettes can you cut per hour?

I can cut up to 35 silhouettes an hour. Each portrait takes less than two minutes and is cut entirely freehand, without drawing, tracing or a template. Speed is part of the performance, but I never treat resemblance as secondary.
